I am a recent graduate in International Relations and Middle East Studies. Originally from Costa Rica, I look forward to travelling back to beautiful Central America this summer. I will be working in Guatemala, where I will contribute to the work of Peacebuilding in las Americas, an organization partnering with a number of local institutions to offer Alternatives to Violence Program (AVP) workshops and community-based trauma healing workshops to the local community. I am grateful to the Swearer Center International Fellowship for sponsoring this work.
