Renata Sago

Since graduating from Brown in 2010 with a Bachelors in International Relations, I have done everything from teach English in Paris to visit castles in Prague and volunteer at a public health clinic in Chicago. I am currently in Pointe-à-Pitre, Guadeloupe as a visiting international student at Université des Antilles et de la Guyane. This has been made possible by an Ambassadorial Scholarship from The Rotary Foundation.

Once a Watston Institute rapporteur and Brown Daily Herald opinions columnist, I am continuing to nourish my passion for writing through creative writing pieces about my travels. Writing pieces published here can be found on my blog (
