Maya Manning

Maya Manning is a Cognitive Neuroscience concentrator at Brown University with an expected graduation year of 2014. Since spring 2011 she has been a member of St. Anthony Hall, a co-ed literary fraternity at Brown. In her sophomore year she was a research assitant at the Britton Lab and helped research the effects of meditation on cognition, emotion, and phyisology. Outside of Brown she has participated in french and spanish immersion trips, created and edited websites, and worked for B Lab, the non-profit that certifies B Corporations which are for-profit companies that are socially and environmentally beneficial in nature.

She was born and raised in the Pennsylvanian coutryside outside of Philadelphia. Her favorite past times are riding horses, dancing, traveling, hanging out with friends, reading, and watching TV.
